Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a Junior Commercial Finance Analyst to join our team based in Hammersmith, London. This entry-level position reports directly to the FP&A Manager and involves supporting various financial operations within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly cost centre reporting and perform variance analysis.
- Support the Finance Manager in forecasting and budgeting activities.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Management Accounts teams to ensure monthly financial data is accurate and properly presented.
- Initiate and help develop controls and procedures aimed at enhancing financial processes across the organization.
- Contribute to ad hoc projects, analyses, and offer general support as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in Excel is preferred along with comfort using various IT systems.
- Highly organized, efficient, and capable of working independently with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude.
- Demonstrates enthusiasm for process improvement and system development.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize workload effectively to meet deadlines and achieve targets.
- Works well within a team environment.
