Junior Clinical Fellow - FY3 Programme

Role overview

This opportunity sits within the FY3 Junior Clinical Fellow programme and is aimed at doctors who have completed Foundation Training, or an equivalent stage, and want structured educational exposure and professional support to progress in their medical careers. The post content can differ depending on the placement, but the role typically combines ward-based duties, ward rounds, multidisciplinary team meetings, and, where applicable, theatre sessions and outpatient clinic work.

Working pattern and support

These positions generally involve out-of-hours work and operate on full-shift rotas. Senior medical cover is available throughout, so you will have access to supervision at all times.

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is the principal provider of acute hospital services for roughly half a million people across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and mid Wales.
