Role Overview
As a Junior Business Controller, you will assist in the planning, management, and monitoring of the company’s financial performance metrics. Your responsibilities include contributing to budget preparation, forecasting, and economic planning, continuously analyzing deviations and the profitability of projects and business divisions. Daily tasks involve processing financial and controlling data, supporting month-end and annual financial closures, and preparing reports and decision-making documents for management.
You will collaborate closely with Finance, Sales, and Production departments and help enhance controlling processes and tools. This is a full-time position based in Efringen-Kirchen, working in a hybrid model that offers the option to partly work remotely.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in business controlling and planning, enabling structured guidance and optimization of economic processes.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in finance to confidently evaluate and clearly present financial data.
- Knowledge of financial planning including budgeting, forecasting, and key performance indicator analysis.
- A completed degree in economics-related fields (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, Controlling) or equivalent qualification.
- Competent use of MS Excel and ideally experience with controlling or ERP systems.
- Structured, self-driven, and team-oriented working style with high numerical affinity, eagerness to learn, and an interest in the wine industry and cooperative work environment.
