About the Role
An opportunity for a Junior Business Analyst to support a significant SD-WAN deployment project within the public sector based in Toronto, ON. This position involves working hands-on with network operations, administrative tasks, and technical coordination to ensure smooth network implementations at multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the SD-WAN Project Manager by organizing project activities, schedules, and important deployment milestones.
- Coordinate logistics such as site surveys, equipment moves, and installations by communicating with telecommunications vendors (Bell and Rogers) and ITFS field technicians.
- Confirm installation schedules with vendor technicians and ensure effective alignment with field teams to enable successful site deployments.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including master installation lists and circuit specifics.
- Create and improve Power BI dashboards for detailed project status monitoring and progress reporting.
- Investigate and resolve site-specific deployment or connectivity problems by collaborating with internal teams and external service providers.
- Serve as the communication bridge among project stakeholders, vendors, and technical experts to resolve issues promptly.
- Track critical project data such as circuit information and installation calendars to support on-time delivery.
- Provide routine project updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Support additional projects within the Technology Planning team when available.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 3 to 5 years hands-on experience with network technologies.
- Strong communication abilities for working effectively with vendor management and technical subject matter experts.
- Experience coordinating with project management, including monitoring issues and managing records.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI.
- Prior experience collaborating with telecommunications vendors such as Bell and Rogers and working alongside ITFS field technicians.
Additional Information
This role is a contract position lasting approximately 132 business days with the possibility of extension. The pay rate ranges between CAD $50 and $55 per hour. The work location is onsite in Toronto, ON.
