Responsibilities
- Create, enhance, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for customers in industry and the mid-market segment.
- Design data models such as star schemas and DAX measures, and connect different source systems including SQL databases, APIs, and flat files.

- Ensure the BI solutions remain accurate, performant, and easy to trace.
- Work closely with clients to understand reporting needs and turn them into implemented solutions.
- Support ongoing customer projects under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Training and development
The first six months are structured as a core apprenticeship and learning phase with a strong focus on building skills in the company’s key BI technologies.
- Follow a guided learning path centered on Power BI, data modeling, and SQL.
- Earn at least one relevant certification, such as Microsoft PL-300 (Power BI) or Databricks Certified Associate.
- Contribute to real client projects with increasing responsibility while being supported.
- Receive regular feedback from the Core Lead and experienced engineers.
- Present a project outcome or learning result at the end of the phase.
- After six months, your progress and your future path toward the Core Engineer role will be reviewed together.
Career path
After the training phase, the role can progress into Core Engineer, with a specialization in BI, Databricks, or data web apps depending on your strengths and interests. Continuous feedback and clear development guidance are part of the journey.
Requirements

- Some hands-on experience with SQL, gained for example through studies, internships, or personal projects.

- A structured, eager-to-learn, and self-driven way of working.
- Very good German skills and good English skills.
- The main priority is not already knowing everything, but learning quickly and taking ownership.
Compensation and conditions
The position offers a fixed gross salary of 5,000 euros per month after the probation period. The role is full-time and based on-site in Munich. The start date is immediate.
What you can expect
- Targeted skill development in Power BI, data modeling, and the modern data stack.

- A clear growth path from Junior to Core Engineer to Senior.
- Team events, offsites, and an open, supportive culture.
- A start-up style environment with flat hierarchies and direct collaboration with senior engineers and management.
