Role Overview
The Junior Art Director will primarily assist the Creative Director with various creative endeavors for our clients in FMCG, travel, lifestyle, and retail sectors. This includes crafting the visual design components for new business pitches, responding to briefs, and managing Enthral's internal brand identity. You will participate in shaping visual concepts from inception to final implementation, gaining valuable insight into earned-first creative processes while contributing to impactful projects that influence culture and drive results.
This role emphasizes collaboration within the agency's flat structure, requiring attendance at client briefings and strategic sessions to serve as a genuine extension of our clients' teams. Some travel is necessary to nurture client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Creative Director in guiding brainstorming sessions rooted in insights and aligned with client briefs and budgets.
- Perform end-to-end graphic design and art direction, including creating visual treatments, storyboards, and key visuals for pitch proposals and client briefs.
- Maintain and update Enthral's brand identity, including proposal templates and credentials presentations, extending to social media presence.
- Ensure all creative outputs meet high standards and effectively address the brief through close collaboration with the Creative Director.
- Promote agency-wide creative collaboration, encouraging ideas from all staff regardless of role.
Qualifications & Skills
- 1-2 years of relevant experience, ideally within a creative agency setting.
- A portfolio showcasing creative problem-solving under brief constraints.
- Experience in earned media and social-first creative campaigns preferred but not essential.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong skills in typography, layout, and composition.
- Basic motion design skills (After Effects) are a plus.
- Awareness and use of AI and emerging technologies to enhance creative work.
- Passion for storytelling through innovative ideas and curiosity about culture, design, advertising, and new technologies.
- Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to delivering excellent client service.
- Positive mindset with openness to constructive feedback.
- Keen interest in learning and growing within an independent agency environment.
