Role overview
Scholz & Friends is looking for a Junior Art Director to join its Berlin team. This role is aimed at someone with an eye for visuals who wants to contribute fresh creative thinking to modern campaign development and help shape designs that stand out.
What you will do
- Support the development of creative visual concepts that work across multiple channels and integrated campaigns.
- Help shape the visual identity of distinctive brand appearances.
- Translate creative and strategic thinking into strong, emotional visual languages.
- Assist in building contemporary image concepts and help with the coordination of audio and video productions.
- Execute visual design work at a high standard with strong attention to detail.
- Use AI-supported tools as part of the everyday creative workflow for ideation and visual execution.
What you should bring
- Initial relevant professional experience, for example through internships or a junior role, ideally in a fast-moving creative agency environment.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates your design sensibility and early campaign thinking.
- The ability to think beyond the obvious and the motivation to turn bold ideas into visual worlds.
- Confident use of the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- A sharp eye for aesthetics, current design trends, and a willingness to keep learning and developing.
