About the Company

OTI Lumionics specializes in the design and creation of cutting-edge materials using quantum simulations, machine learning, and practical testing in pilot production environments. Collaborating closely with customers and partners, they design materials optimized for mass production, leveraging their computational Materials Discovery Platform to accelerate material innovation and meet client demands swiftly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute laboratory analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products following established methods, utilizing instruments such as NMR, Mass Spectrometry, HPLC, UV, IR, TGA, and DSC.
  • Support the development, transfer, and validation of analytical methods.
  • Contribute to troubleshooting issues related to methods and instrumentation.
  • Accurately document all testing procedures, deviations, and findings in strict compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain a safe, well-organized laboratory environment adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Comply with environmental policies and actively engage in minimizing environmental impact relevant to the role.
  • Follow health and safety protocols, promptly report hazards, and help sustain a safe workplace for all personnel.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile and Skills

  • Possess a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline.
  • Solid understanding of fundamental chemistry concepts, including chromatography and spectroscopic instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with organic chemistry is advantageous.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data analysis software.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • High attention to detail, with a capacity for quick learning, flexibility, initiative, and a proactive attitude.
