Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant position in the United Arab Emirates. The role supports day-to-day accounting and finance operations, including statement preparation, transaction review, record keeping, discrepancy resolution, payroll support, and financial reporting assistance. The position also involves cross-team coordination and participation in audit-related activities to help maintain accurate financial records.
Key Duties
- Prepare financial statements and support routine reporting activities.
- Examine account transactions and ensure entries are recorded correctly.
- Keep accounting records organized and up to date.
- Identify and help resolve mismatches or discrepancies in accounts.
- Assist with payroll processing and related finance tasks.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and audit requirements.
- Work with other departments to gather and verify finance-related information.
Qualifications and Skills
- Hands-on knowledge of accounting software, general ledger upkeep, and financial reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and solid organizational ability for managing records and account reconciliations.
- Basic understanding of payroll procedures and finance compliance requirements.
- Good time management and the ability to contribute effectively in a team setting.
- Accurate data entry skills, along with exposure to tax filings and preparation of financial statements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
- Prior experience in a junior accounting or similar role will be an advantage.
- Strong English communication skills; additional language ability is a plus.
