Company Overview

SCORP, operating as Sarsan Corporate Services LLC and part of the Sarsan Group, is a Dubai-based business setup consultancy serving clients across the globe. The company helps individuals, startups, and established organizations launch and run businesses in the UAE by offering support with licensing, company formation, PRO services, license renewals, trademark registration, and other regulatory requirements.

Role Summary

The Junior Accountant will handle routine accounting support tasks and help keep financial records accurate and up to date. This position involves recording transactions, matching bank statements, assisting with payables and receivables, preparing simple financial reports, and supporting month-end and year-end closing work. The role also requires close coordination with finance and operations teams to follow company policies and UAE financial regulations, along with keeping documents well organized for audits and internal checks. This is a full-time, on-site position in Business Bay, Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record daily accounting entries and ensure transactions are posted correctly.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and help resolve discrepancies.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
  • Prepare basic financial summaries and reports when needed.
  • Contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Maintain orderly financial records and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to help ensure policy and regulatory compliance.
  • Support audit preparation and internal review requirements.

Qualifications

  • Good working knowledge of core accounting concepts such as journal entries, reconciliations, and basic financial reporting.
  • Comfort using accounting software and Microsoft Excel for data entry, spreadsheet handling, and simple reporting.
  • Strong accuracy, organization, and record-keeping habits.
  • Clear written and spoken communication skills for professional coordination and responses.
  • Ability to manage time well, prioritize tasks, and work to deadlines in a busy client-oriented setting.
  • A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Relevant internship exposure or 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance is considered an advantage.
  • Interest in or familiarity with UAE business regulations and corporate services is beneficial; background in a corporate services or professional services environment is a plus.
  • High integrity, dependability, eagerness to learn, and a proactive mindset toward problem-solving and improvement.

Additional Information

This is a full-time onsite role based in Business Bay, Dubai. The position requires regular collaboration with finance and operations colleagues and ongoing attention to accuracy, compliance, and documentation standards.
