About the Role
B L Chajed & Co., a Chartered Accountancy firm located in Gandhi Nagar, Bengaluru, is seeking 2-3 Junior Accountants to support GST, Income Tax, TDS, and audit compliance tasks for a portfolio of over 500 clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and filing of GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and reconciliations of GSTR-2B.
- Calculation and filing of TDS returns.
- Maintaining bookkeeping and completing finalization of accounts using Tally Prime.
- Assisting in the execution of statutory and tax audits.
- Filing compliance documents related to MSME and other regulatory requirements.
- Communicating with clients to gather necessary documents and resolve queries.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a Chartered Accountant's office; experience in industry accounting will not be considered.
- B.Com, BBA, or equivalent qualification.
- Strong proficiency with Tally Prime is required.
- Familiarity with GST, Income Tax portals, and TRACES platform.
- Basic Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Fluent spoken Hindi and functional English communication skills.
- Willingness to enter a 2-year service contract.
Compensation and Terms
The monthly salary ranges from ₹20,000 to ₹22,000, which includes a base salary plus a retention component, and is commensurate with relevant experience.
Additional Information
Employment type is full-time and permanent. The workplace is located onsite in Gandhi Nagar, Bengaluru.
