Job description
Overview
We are looking for a skilled administrator to manage and optimize our Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket platforms at our Mumbai office. This role requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and 3-4 years of hands-on experience administering Atlassian tools in a corporate setting. The position is full-time with Monday to Friday day shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, configure, and ensure high availability and optimal performance of Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket environments.
- Manage user permissions, roles, and access control within these platforms.
- Work closely with development and project teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions through Jira workflows and Confluence documentation.
- Create and maintain Groovy scripts to automate and enhance Atlassian product functionalities.
- Design and implement project management dashboards, features, and reports tailored to stakeholder needs.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the Atlassian suite, providing prompt support to users.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users on best practices and new tool features.
- Keep informed about the latest Atlassian releases and evaluate potential improvements for implementation.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficient in Groovy scripting for customization and automation within Atlassian products.
- Experience working with marketplace applications such as Xray, EazyBI, and ScriptRunner.
- Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management concepts.
- Familiarity with additional development tools and methods is advantageous.
