Job description
Overview
Izakaya Fujiyama, a Japanese sake bar and izakaya located conveniently just 300 meters from Central Station and 200 meters from Surry Hills Light Rail station at 38-52 Waterloo Street, Surry Hills, NSW, is seeking dedicated kitchen staff to join their team.
Working Hours
- Weekdays: Approximately 3 hours starting around 6 PM (exact times may vary depending on bookings)
- Friday and Saturday: About 5 hours starting at 4 PM
- Attendance on both Friday and Saturday is mandatory
- Total weekly hours: Between 20 to 24 hours
Salary
Following the initial training period, the pay rate is $27.5 per hour, inclusive of superannuation.

- English proficiency is not a prerequisite
- Applicants should be able to commit to at least six months tenure
- A minimum of one year of kitchen staff experience in the food industry is essential
- Enthusiasm for Japanese cuisine is required
