Position Details

• Employment type: Part-time or Full-time
• Hourly pay rate: $15
• Weekly salary payment

Job Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and upkeep of all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Adhere to proper procedures when using chemical cleaners and powered equipment to avoid damage to floors and other surfaces
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, meeting rooms, hallways, and entryways
• Empty trash receptacles and use compactors for waste disposal where applicable
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using suitable cleaning products and equipment
• Spot clean carpets and assist with carpet extraction and shampooing
• Replenish paper supplies and sanitary products
• Follow the established housekeeping schedule
• Operate heavy cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers when necessary
• Perform additional tasks as assigned in line with customer requirements or scope of work

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education; alternatively, at least six months of experience in a janitorial role
• On-the-job training provided
• Strong attention to detail
• Capability to follow instructions accurately

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles
• Understanding of custodial procedures and commercial cleaning standards
• Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing and waxing
• Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance
