Role overview

We are seeking an entry-level IT Support Specialist to join a fully remote team. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about beginning a career in IT and enjoys helping people resolve technology-related problems.

In this position, you will assist with day-to-day technical support operations and contribute to keeping internal systems running smoothly across the organization.

What you will do

  • Handle support requests received by email, chat, and ticketing tools.
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and networks.
  • Help users with access-related tasks, including account management and password resets.
  • Assist with installing and setting up software and devices.
  • Maintain and update IT records and documentation.
  • Track support tickets and monitor their progress.
  • Route complex technical problems to senior technicians when required.

What we are looking for

The right candidate should have a foundational understanding of computers, operating systems, and widely used software applications. Experience with Windows or macOS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking is considered beneficial.

Strong written and verbal communication, a practical approach to solving problems, and close attention to detail are important for this role. Prior exposure to IT support, customer service, or technical troubleshooting is useful, but not mandatory for someone applying at entry level.
