Role Overview
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused IT Support Officer / IT Help Desk Officer to join the team on a full-time basis. This is an entry-level to mid-level position where you will be the first point of contact for technical assistance, helping staff resolve everyday IT problems and keeping hardware, software, and network services running smoothly.

Core Responsibilities
- Act as the initial support contact for employees through phone, email, ticketing platforms, or face-to-face assistance.
- Diagnose and fix problems related to computers, software, printers, and network connectivity.
- Set up, install, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and other IT accessories.
- Handle user account administration, password resets, email configuration, and access control.
- Provide support for Microsoft 365 tools and other workplace software systems.
- Track IT equipment, update inventory records, and maintain asset documentation.
- Refer more complex issues to senior IT staff or external service providers when needed.
- Record incidents, resolutions, and support steps clearly and accurately.
- Assist with application rollouts, system updates, and broader IT initiatives.
- Follow security procedures and maintain compliance with internal IT standards.
Required Profile
- A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and basic computer hardware.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and VPN.
- Exposure to Active Directory, help desk tools, and remote troubleshooting platforms is beneficial.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to solve technical issues efficiently.
- Clear communication and a strong customer service approach.
- Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, and remain effective under pressure.
- Good attention to detail and solid organizational habits.
- Prior experience in IT support, service desk, or technical assistance roles is an advantage.
