Role Overview

As the company continues to expand, it is looking for a friendly and service-driven IT Support Officer to join the Head Office team in Greater Sydney. In this role, you will provide initial technical assistance to stores and office staff, helping keep devices, systems, and technology platforms running smoothly.

This position offers a strong opportunity to grow an IT career in a fast-moving retail setting, with exposure to a wide mix of technologies while supporting a national business.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for IT issues from retail locations and Head Office, covering hardware, software, network access, and user account concerns.
• Track incoming support requests and work toward prompt resolution with a strong focus on service quality.
• Diagnose and assist with POS systems, EFTPOS terminals, printers, and other retail technology.
• Set up, roll out, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and connected accessories.
• Help staff with Microsoft 365 tools, email, and cloud-based applications.
• Keep accurate documentation of IT equipment, assigned assets, and support actions.
• Support software installs, system updates, and technology improvement initiatives.
• Encourage and reinforce good IT security practices across the organisation.
• Escalate more complex issues to senior IT colleagues or external suppliers when needed.
• Provide simple user guidance and training to improve confidence and adoption of systems.
• Travel to retail stores locally and interstate as required.

This role is based in the Greater Sydney Area and is a full-time, onsite position.
