Role details
This opportunity is for an IT Support Engineer working on an on-call, freelance, part-time, or casual basis. Support is dispatched on a ticket-based model, and service may be required on a same-business-day basis, next-business-day basis, or at other times depending on need.
What the job involves
The position focuses on delivering onsite technical assistance and maintaining strong customer satisfaction through timely and effective support.
- Handle desktop support tasks and resolve both hardware and software problems.
- Set up and troubleshoot audio/video conference rooms.
- Carry out operating system installations and re-imaging work.
- Assist with diagnosing and resolving LAN and WAN network issues.
- Support and configure routers, switches, and related network equipment.
- Respond quickly to technical incidents and service requests.
- Record support actions and resolutions according to company processes.
- Work closely with internal teams and client representatives to keep operations running smoothly.
Additional requirements
