IT Strategy Consultant / PM - IT Strategic Planning with Competitive Salary and Stock Options

This position is offered by a recently established comprehensive consulting firm founded in 2025 by alumni from leading global strategic and general consulting companies. The firm focuses primarily on IT consulting but also supports strategic consulting, business process consulting, and AI implementation consulting. Aiming to disrupt the consulting industry, the company targets an IPO within five years and aspires to become a trillion-yen scale comprehensive consulting firm.

Role Overview

The role centers on leading business transformation efforts and system implementations that leverage cutting-edge technologies. As a core team member, you will support clients in both their business processes and IT needs through requirements gathering to execution support to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulating IT strategic plans and defining business and system requirements.
• Visualizing current operations and designing To-Be business processes as part of Business Process Reengineering (BPR) initiatives.
• Driving projects as a Project Manager or PMO, including managing progress, resolving issues, and coordinating with vendors and stakeholders.
• Preparing critical deliverables such as requirements definition documents, design specifications, and operational manuals.

Typical Projects

• Supporting SaaS adoption for major manufacturing companies.
• Conducting BPR and IT requirements definition for financial institutions.
• Promoting and supporting DX initiatives in telecommunications companies.
• Implementing systems and providing PMO support for large real estate management firms.

Qualifications

• Strong logical thinking abilities.
• At least one year of system development experience.
• Open to candidates without prior consulting experience.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from 6,000,000 to 8,000,000 JPY.

Work Conditions

• Working hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Hybrid remote work policy (remote work possible depending on supervisor’s decision) with one mandatory office day per week.
• Holidays: 125 days including Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, summer vacation, bereavement leave, maternity and childcare leave.
• Location: Chiyoda-ku, Kojimachi, Tokyo, Japan.
• No relocation or transfer is expected.

Recruitment Process

The selection consists of one or two interviews. Initial contact with the HR team can be conducted remotely, followed by in-person interviews with the CEO and Vice President. There are no written tests.
