Talent Pool Purpose
This Talent Pool aims to gather highly capable IT Senior Associates or Officers who will assist in meeting existing and upcoming organizational needs in IT.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based data pipelines and Lakehouse solutions leveraging Databricks and Microsoft Azure platforms to enable analytics, business intelligence, artificial intelligence, and machine learning applications.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, data scientists, and business leaders to ensure reliable and efficient ETL/ELT processes.
- Conduct performance tuning, ensure data quality and governance, identify and solve technical challenges, and modernize data platform infrastructure.
- Contribute to the establishment of architectural best practices, promoting cost-effective and operationally excellent solutions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master's degree in computer science, data science, software engineering, information systems, or closely related quantitative disciplines.
- Between three and four years’ experience working as a Data Engineer within cloud environments.
- Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience with Databricks, encompassing platform administration and active development using PySpark, Spark SQL, and Delta Lake technologies.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Azure data stack, including Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Data Factory, and Azure SQL/Data Warehouse.
- Ability to design, build, and maintain data pipelines supporting analytics, business intelligence, AI, and ML workloads.
- Knowledge of Lakehouse architectures, along with strong understanding of data governance, security, and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) using tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions; familiarity with governance tools like Unity Catalog, with an advantage for Collibra experience.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
- Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory; knowledge of Spanish, Portuguese, or French is considered advantageous.
