IT Project Manager - Digital Twin and Smart Cities

About the Role

A leading global technology company expanding its footprint in Saudi Arabia is seeking an IT Project Manager to oversee initiatives associated with next-generation cloud platforms, artificial intelligence, robotics, and smart infrastructure development. The role is a crucial liaison between global technology hubs and regional stakeholders, playing an integral part in advancing national digital transformation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle of project management including planning, execution, oversight, governance, and closure.
• Handle large and complex technology programs ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Create and update comprehensive project schedules, plans, and resource planning frameworks.
• Facilitate collaboration among cross-disciplinary teams and maintain key stakeholder partnerships.
• Identify potential project risks early and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
• Track and report on project progress regularly to senior management.
• Promote ongoing enhancements in project management methodologies and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years managing complex or multi-stakeholder technology projects.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams within multicultural or international settings.
• Strong leadership abilities along with excellent communication, negotiation, and risk management skills.
• Project management certification such as PMP is highly desirable.
• Experience collaborating with Saudi governmental agencies or large-scale public sector projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with project management software including MS Project and Notion.
• Hands-on experience delivering Digital Twin solutions incorporating 3D modeling, geospatial analysis, IoT, or smart city platforms.
