Job description

Job Overview

This role requires working in a dynamic and fast-changing environment to deliver exceptional customer service and practical technical support. The ideal candidate should be proactive, technically knowledgeable, and capable of suggesting enhancements and new technologies.

Key Duties

  • Provide hardware support including installation, configuration, relocation, and decommissioning of end-user devices such as desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other office equipment.
  • Manage software deployment by installing, configuring, and updating applications; applying patches and updates via endpoint management systems like SCCM or Company Portal; and supporting standard system setups.
  • Handle service management tasks by logging, tracking, and resolving incidents and service requests through ServiceNow, ensuring precise documentation, timely updates, and adherence to SLAs with excellent ticket hygiene.
  • Deliver first and second line technical support to users, perform root cause analysis, resolve problems effectively, and escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Assist with smaller projects such as hardware refreshes and software rollouts, along with supporting testing of new systems or applications when required.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Thorough understanding of end-user hardware and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and endpoint management tools like SCCM, Intune, or Company Portal.
  • Experience using ServiceNow for managing tickets.
  • Basic knowledge of asset and device lifecycle management and familiarity with Active Directory at the user or device level.
  • Strong planning, organization, problem-solving, attention to detail, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent German language skills (written and spoken) and upper-intermediate level proficiency in English.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of end-user workspace platforms including discovery, asset management, and client management, plus a keen interest in artificial intelligence with willingness to explore internal AI tools.
