IT Onsite Support - EUC (Desktop/Network) - Casual / Freelance / On Call Basis

Role Overview

This opportunity is for an on-site IT support professional to assist a technology services company operating across Asia Pacific and EMEA. The business works across desktop systems, servers, networks, and data centre environments, with its headquarters in Adelaide, Australia and a presence across multiple regions.

Work Location

The assignment is based in Renwick 7272, New Zealand.

Engagement Type

The role is offered on a dispatch, on-call, ticket-driven basis and may suit freelance, part-time, or casual availability.

Service Level Expectations

Support is expected to meet same-business-day and next-business-day SLA commitments.

Responsibilities and Technical Scope

• Resolve desktop and network-related incidents at the site.
• Provide support for audio and video systems, including conference room setup.
• Install and upgrade operating systems when required.
• Apply patches and perform routine system updates.
• Carry out software and hardware break-fix work.
• Handle general IT support tasks as a well-rounded field engineer.
• Support basic Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
• Work with core network concepts such as LAN, WAN, switches, and routers, including basic configuration.
• Install and manage Microsoft Office applications.

Candidate Profile

The ideal person should be comfortable working independently, responding to onsite support tickets, and communicating professionally in business English, along with the local language.
