Role overview
This position supports an international bank as it builds and reinforces its local IT capability across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, aligned to a broader regional expansion plan. The successful hire will join a compact and developing in-country IT team and provide practical management support through this growth stage.
The role is well suited to a hands-on IT professional who is comfortable working closely with existing teams and helping raise local operations to the level expected from a mature regional financial institution.
Key responsibilities
- Offer day-to-day IT management support within a small and flexible local team.
- Assist with shaping and integrating IT operations as the organization grows in the region.
- Support the local IT environment in meeting strict operational and regulatory expectations for a financial institution.
- Work cooperatively and adaptively within an established organizational setup.
- Handle practical problem-solving and delivery tasks with a proactive, hands-on mindset.
Skills and qualifications
- Strong prior IT experience in banking or financial services is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver in a practical, execution-oriented way in fast-moving environments.
- Comfort operating onsite in a market with changing priorities.
- Capability to work autonomously while fitting into an international team.
- Excellent spoken and written English is mandatory.
