Job description

Role overview

This position supports an international bank as it builds and reinforces its local IT capability across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, aligned to a broader regional expansion plan. The successful hire will join a compact and developing in-country IT team and provide practical management support through this growth stage.

The role is well suited to a hands-on IT professional who is comfortable working closely with existing teams and helping raise local operations to the level expected from a mature regional financial institution.

Key responsibilities

  • Offer day-to-day IT management support within a small and flexible local team.
  • Assist with shaping and integrating IT operations as the organization grows in the region.
  • Support the local IT environment in meeting strict operational and regulatory expectations for a financial institution.
  • Work cooperatively and adaptively within an established organizational setup.
  • Handle practical problem-solving and delivery tasks with a proactive, hands-on mindset.

Skills and qualifications

  • Strong prior IT experience in banking or financial services is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver in a practical, execution-oriented way in fast-moving environments.
  • Comfort operating onsite in a market with changing priorities.
  • Capability to work autonomously while fitting into an international team.
  • Excellent spoken and written English is mandatory.

Why this opportunity stands out

The organization describes itself as having an informal culture, a flat structure, and a project-team-led way of working. Career growth is emphasized, with an expectation that skills, learning attitude, talent, and drive matter more than formal academic credentials.

Equal opportunity

The employer states that it is an equal opportunity organization and values diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
