Overview
The IT Manager holds responsibility for ensuring the efficient operation of our organization's computer systems, adhering to specified requirements, budgets, and schedule parameters. This role oversees the deployment and maintenance of our enterprise’s computing infrastructure.
Key Duties
- Develop and sustain comprehensive information technology strategies.
- Supervise and manage IT personnel effectively.
- Investigate and apply innovative technology solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
- Drive performance and results within the IT team through planning and evaluation.
- Provide coaching, counseling, and disciplinary guidance as needed.
- Initiate, coordinate, and enforce IT systems, policies, and procedural standards.
- Oversee recruitment, selection, orientation, and training for IT staff.
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment for all team members.
- Encourage and facilitate professional development and career growth opportunities.
- Define and implement IT strategic plans enhancing organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Lead technological research by analyzing organizational objectives, strategies, and projects.
- Coordinate projects by aligning resources and timelines with both user departments and the data center.
- Validate results of implemented applications through systematic technology audits.
- Safeguard assets with disaster recovery plans, backup protocols, security controls, and compliance measures.
- Recommend IT policies and strategies based on comprehensive evaluation of organizational outcomes.
- Identify and resolve technology-related challenges and stay abreast of industry trends.
- Establish and uphold organizational standards to maintain quality service delivery.
- Continually update professional and technical skills via workshops, publications, networking, and active society participation.
