Role Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot IT solutions onsite across Contilia facilities, including hospitals, clinics, senior homes, therapy, rehabilitation, and laboratories.
- Install and provide support for PCs, thin clients, notebooks, and related peripherals, ensuring adherence to stringent quality standards during deployment, replacement, and decommissioning.
- Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for users by analyzing hardware and software issues and offering competent support and guidance.
- Coordinate and execute rollouts, IT relocations, and migrations in close collaboration with colleagues from IT projects, infrastructure, and applications teams.
- Document incidents independently using the ticketing system and actively contribute to the development and enhancement of knowledge base articles to share information and improve team processes.
- Primarily work at one of the major hospital sites (Mülheim, Essen-Borbeck, Essen-Huttrop, Essen-Kupferdreh) and participate in on-call duty as required.
Qualifications
- Completed technical training in IT, such as IT specialist or system technician.
- Some prior professional experience in IT with a good command of Windows, Office, networking, and modern hardware.
- Practical knowledge of client and network technologies; experience with medical information systems, thin clients, and Citrix environments is advantageous.
- Service-oriented approach with enthusiasm for competent user support and customer satisfaction.
- Strong communication skills, enjoys teamwork, works in a structured, independent, and solution-focused manner.
- Valid driving license class B, motivated and flexible.
