Job Overview

We are in search of a technically adept and proactive IT Engineer to design, deploy, maintain, and support our company’s IT framework. The candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, security, and operational efficiency of information systems critical to our organizational functions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and upkeep hardware, software, networking equipment, and servers.
• Continuously monitor system performance and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
• Handle network security measures, including firewalls and data protection protocols.
• Offer technical assistance to end-users and promptly address IT-related problems.
• Keep system documentation, policies, and procedures current and accurate.
• Conduct routine backups and validate disaster recovery strategies.
• Work alongside vendors and service providers to manage IT services and procurement processes.
• Apply system upgrades, patches, and introduce new technological solutions as necessary.
• Ensure all IT operations abide by internal policies and security standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrable experience in an IT Engineer role or equivalent capacity.
• Solid understanding of networking principles such as LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Proficiency with operating systems including Windows, Linux, or macOS.
• Experience with virtualization technologies, cloud computing services, and cybersecurity measures.
• Recognized certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, or CompTIA Network+ are desirable.
