Job description
About the Role
At FROMMER LEGAL, we drive innovation by integrating AI into the legal sector while modernizing our infrastructure. We seek a versatile IT Administrator who maintains an overarching view rather than focusing on individual software areas, ready to take action whenever necessary.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of Windows and Citrix environments and maintain the virtualization infrastructure.
- Handle software deployment and maintain the VoIP telephone system.
- Manage network, backups, and permissions with a strong emphasis on security as a core responsibility.
- Proactively improve processes, create documentation, and explore opportunities for automation and AI integration.
- Help the IT infrastructure evolve by integrating new tools and solutions alongside the team.
Qualifications
- Completed IT training, preferably as a Fachinformatiker Systemintegration or equivalent qualification.
- At least five years of experience working as an IT administrator, with additional support experience welcomed.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory; familiarity with Citrix, VMware, WSUS, and/or storage solutions is a plus.
- Solid understanding of networking and security basics, software deployment, and VoIP systems.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and ticketing systems is advantageous.
- Strong hands-on, pragmatic, and solution-focused approach.
- Commitment to continuous improvement, automation, and digitalization.
- Open, honest communication style, team-oriented, and able to maintain composure during busy periods with a good sense of humor.
- Motivated to learn new skills and drive projects forward.
- Fluency in German at C2 level (minimum) required.
Benefits
Experience a dynamic, cutting-edge work environment in Munich at a modern legal-tech firm rather than a traditional law office. Enjoy flat hierarchies, a collaborative atmosphere based on mutual respect and trust, and the empowerment to take responsibility, self-organize, and work autonomously fostering satisfaction and innovation.
Take advantage of flexible working hours, remote work options, and a 'MeTime' initiative started in 2024 to support better work-life balance.
Your contributions and personal development are valued equally, with open channels for sharing ideas and leadership grounded in equality.
We provide internal and external professional development opportunities, contribute toward company pension plans, and organize regular social events.
