IT Administrator for Real Estate Company

Job Overview

A prominent real estate firm in Riyadh is looking for a seasoned IT Administrator to oversee and secure its technological infrastructure. The applicant must have at least five years of experience in networking and cybersecurity, with a preference for candidates familiar with the real estate sector. This position involves managing IT systems to ensure smooth business functions and robust security.

Primary Duties

• Oversee and maintain all IT infrastructure components such as servers, workstations, network devices, and communications equipment.
• Setup, manage, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, wireless networks, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Create and enforce cybersecurity policies to protect company data and systems.
• Continuously monitor network health to guarantee IT service availability, reliability, and security.
• Conduct system upgrades, apply patches, manage data backups, and administer disaster recovery procedures.
• Handle user account management including access controls and security permissions.
• Execute security evaluations and manage appropriate remediation steps.
• Provide prompt technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Coordinate with external suppliers and service vendors regarding IT resource procurement and maintenance.
• Support critical business applications such as real estate platforms, ERP, CRM, and property management systems.
• Keep detailed documentation on IT assets and system configurations up to date.
• Suggest and implement strategic improvements to enhance IT performance and security.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum of five years in IT administration focusing on networking and cybersecurity.
• Experience in real estate industry environments is advantageous.
• Proficient in networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching technologies.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, endpoint security, and security monitoring tools.
• Knowledgeable in Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and virtualization platforms.
• Understanding of cloud services, backup mechanisms, and disaster recovery methods.
• Strong problem-solving abilities alongside excellent communication skills.

Recommended Certifications

• CCNA or CCNP certifications.
• CompTIA Security certification.
