Job description
About the role
6IXSENSES Digital is looking for an IT Administrator / Business Systems Support professional to handle everyday technology support for a major Canadian distribution organization. This is a practical, hands-on position centered on helping employees use IT tools, business software, devices, and core technology services smoothly.
The customer works in a NetSuite-based setup. Prior NetSuite experience is helpful but not mandatory; the selected candidate will receive guidance and time to learn the platform, internal processes, and the business context.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver daily IT assistance to business users across the company.
- Oversee user accounts, access rights, permissions, and login credentials.
- Support users working in a NetSuite-based ERP environment, with training provided.
- Administer Microsoft 365 tools, including email, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Set up and resolve issues with laptops, desktops, mobile phones, printers, and office tech.
- Manage IT onboarding and exit processes, device tracking, software licenses, and related records.
- Assist with endpoint protection, password rules, access governance, and basic cybersecurity practices.
What you should bring
You should have at least 2 years of experience in IT administration, helpdesk, desktop support, or systems support. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows-based devices, email platforms, and user administration is expected.
The role also calls for experience diagnosing problems with hardware, software, printers, networks, and business applications. You should be comfortable handling user accounts, permission management, and access controls.
Clear communication and a helpful, service-focused approach are important, as you will work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A willingness to learn business applications in a NetSuite-based environment is essential.
Nice to have
Experience with NetSuite, Business Central, Sage, or similar ERP/business systems is an advantage. Familiarity with distribution, inventory, warehouse, purchasing, or finance systems will also be beneficial.
Basic networking knowledge, such as Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, and IP, along with exposure to endpoint security tools, is considered helpful. Experience working with managed IT providers, ERP consultants, or software vendors is also a plus.
Why this role stands out
You will be joining a respected Toronto-based digital and technology services company and supporting a large, established organization with real operational complexity. The position offers hands-on exposure across IT support, ERP platforms, business systems, and operational workflows.
This is a good opportunity to grow with a team that values technology, service quality, and long-term client success.
