Investments Analyst

Role Overview

The Investments Analyst will engage in diverse investment functions related to acquisitions, asset management, and capital markets within a real estate context. This pivotal position involves collaboration with senior leadership and teams dedicated to leasing, development, and construction. Key duties include underwriting and due diligence for potential capital transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, and recapitalizations. Activities involve advanced financial modeling, responding to information requests, preparing cash flow analyses, and undertaking various special projects as needed.

Daily Responsibilities

• Develop and update Argus financial models tailored for investors, lenders, and consultants.
• Create annual business plans for existing properties and investment memoranda for new deals.
• Maintain complex Excel models projecting decade-long cash flows to evaluate IRR, cash flow multiples, and profitability metrics.
• Organize and manage databases tracking WS and comparable property portfolios for management use.
• Engage with external parties including lenders, appraisers, consultants, and capital partners to facilitate transactions.

This role offers immediate exposure to multiple facets of real estate deals, allowing the analyst to apply analytical and modeling expertise to sourcing deals, conducting market research, performing due diligence, and supporting portfolio management. Qualifications

• Minimum two years in a fast-paced professional environment, preferably in real estate.
• Strong enthusiasm for real estate and asset management sectors.
• Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
• Advanced skills in financial analysis and quick mental calculations.
• Initiative to lead projects and assume responsibility.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, including business writing and editing.
• Proficiency in Excel modeling; Argus experience advantageous.

Compensation and Company Insights

The anticipated salary range for this position is between 90,000 and 110,000 USD annually, influenced by qualifications, experience, and location. The role is also eligible for participation in an annual bonus program.
