Investment Intern - Venture Capital in Climate and Sustainability

About the Role

Eurazeo seeks an investment intern for a six-month tenure from January to June 2027, supporting various mandates within a fund focused on expansion-stage investments in climate and sustainability sectors. These include energy, mobility, logistics, built environment, and industrial technology across Europe and Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new investment prospects, conducting initial screenings of startups.
• Engage with entrepreneurs alongside the team and attend industry events to gather market intelligence on startups, sectors, and emerging trends.
• Conduct research to aid in formulating investment theses on relevant industries and trends.
• Participate in due diligence activities, including meetings, reference checks, and assessments of product and technical aspects.
• Analyze competitive landscapes, market sizing, and develop business plan models; assist in preparing investment memorandums.
• Perform in-depth analysis of industry and market trends.
• Assist in organizing events and creating content to enhance the fund's and Eurazeo's presence in the Asian ecosystem.
• Support the improvement of internal processes and workflows.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Strong interest in technology and entrepreneurship with evidence of engagement in related areas.
• Completed at least one internship or work experience involving significant responsibilities; experience in startups, finance, investment, or consulting is advantageous.
• Familiarity with the Asian venture ecosystem, ideally through previous study or work periods in the region.
• Demonstrated analytical rigor, critical thinking, and effective communication skills; ability to interpret financial statements and business plans, with financial modeling experience considered a plus.
• Curiosity and openness to learning about unfamiliar industries and new businesses.
• Highly self-motivated, organized, and adept at managing multiple priorities and coordinating with team members proactively.
• Attention to detail and a meticulous approach.
• Collaborative team player with strong communication skills to contribute effectively towards goals and deadlines.
• Must be currently residing in Singapore.
