Role Overview

We are seeking an Investment Director to spearhead investment research and oversee the full investment process. The role entails close collaboration with senior leadership to improve research capabilities, streamline portfolio operations, and promote analytical rigor. This position requires deep market expertise combined with operational precision and offers significant autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead thorough investment due diligence by sourcing, screening, and evaluating investment opportunities across various strategies and global markets. Analyze performance data, investment methodologies, risk profiles, and team credentials. Maintain ongoing communication with managers to track strategy developments and organization stability.
• Manage the due diligence workflow by working with internal teams to ensure completion and organization of the process. Maintain tracking tools and compile detailed investment memorandums for senior management review.
• Perform macroeconomic research and market analysis, monitoring global economic indicators, central bank policies, and geopolitical events. Identify trends and create scenario analyses to guide investment strategies and portfolio positioning. Deliver concise insights and reports to leadership.

Required Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years of experience in investment management, encompassing areas such as investment research, portfolio management, or institutional capital allocation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial markets and complex financial instruments.
• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative discipline. Proficiency in Python programming for investment analytics and portfolio management.
• Strong research capabilities coupled with excellent written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg terminal and widely used investment software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CFA or CAIA are advantageous.
• Additional programming knowledge in languages like R or SQL.
• Experience investing in emerging markets.
• Proven track record in portfolio management.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary package up to USD 260,000.
