Role overview

Elevate Partners is representing a leading European fund that is looking to hire an experienced Investment Director for its Dublin team. This senior position offers exposure to a range of sectors and covers both growth equity and buyout investing.

The person in this role will be expected to take an active part in sourcing, executing, and overseeing investments, while working closely with senior leaders across the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Spot and assess prospective investment opportunities within the fund’s target sectors.
• Work alongside Managing Directors and Partners to originate deals and help drive execution.
• Take ownership of or support due diligence, financial modelling, and transaction close processes.
• Prepare materials for investment committee review and assist with deal structuring.
• Communicate with investors and other key stakeholders and help maintain ongoing updates.
• Contribute as a senior team member to the firm’s culture, operating processes, and strategic direction.

Requirements

• A strong academic profile is expected; ACA, CFA, or a similar qualification would be a significant advantage.
• At least 15 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or corporate finance.
• Hands-on experience in executing deals, with a clear record of sourcing and completing transactions.
• Ability to build trust and credibility with investors, management teams, and wider stakeholders.
• Advanced capability in financial modelling and analysis.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial approach with strong self-motivation and a collaborative mindset.

Compensation and additional details

A competitive salary and bonus package is available, together with carry participation across the growth and buyout funds.
