Investment Banking & Private Equity Specialist

Role Overview

This opportunity seeks a Corporate Finance Expert to contribute on a contract basis. The position is fully remote and offers compensation between $50 and $58 per hour, with a workload commitment ranging from 10 up to 40 hours weekly.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop complex financial assignments and prompts that accurately capture the nuances of investment banking, private equity, and corporate finance sectors.
• Create benchmark solutions using Excel and PowerPoint to serve as standard references for AI assessment.
• Design and continuously improve detailed grading criteria for evaluating AI-generated outputs related to transaction execution and financial modeling exercises.
• Build, adjust, and audit sophisticated financial models such as three-statement projections, valuation frameworks, leveraged buyout (LBO) analyses, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sensitivity testing.
• Generate comprehensive transaction analyses and investment documents prepared to client-ready standards with high accuracy and professional quality.
• Maintain precision and clarity in all delivered materials, ensuring they conform to relevant industry standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Hands-on expertise in financial modeling, valuation approaches, and transaction-level analysis is essential.
• Advanced skills in Excel including scenario and integrity analysis to ensure robustness of financial models.
• Proficient in crafting professional and visually appealing PowerPoint presentations and investment proposals.
• Well-versed in common investment banking, private equity, and corporate development documentation, templates, and workflows.
• Demonstrated experience working on active deal transactions, investments, or execution projects.
