Job description
Role Overview
We seek seasoned investment banking professionals to assess the performance of AI systems in executing real-world banking tasks. The role involves establishing precise evaluation standards and rigorously scoring completed work samples with well-supported written explanations.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed, task-specific grading frameworks for various banking deliverables such as financial models, valuation reports, pitch decks, Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), deal memorandums, and board or committee presentations.
- Evaluate both AI-produced and human-submitted work samples against these criteria, providing thorough written reasoning for each assigned score.
- Maintain consistent, evidence-based judgments ensuring scoring can be reproduced and defended.
- Incorporate structured input from senior reviewers and promptly refine evaluations based on feedback.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of two years’ professional investment banking experience, preferably at associate level or higher.
- Experience within top-tier global investment banks or prestigious advisory boutiques, focusing on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), coverage, or capital markets.
- Strong expertise in essential banking practices including three-statement and transaction modeling (Discounted Cash Flow, Leveraged Buyout, comparative company analysis, merger mathematics), valuation discernment, deal-process documentation, and bank-quality formatting and accuracy standards.
- Exceptional written communication skills with an ability to articulate clearly why work meets or falls short of expected standards.
- Attention to detail, consistency in judgment, and comfort with having evaluations reviewed and calibrated by colleagues.
- Prior involvement in AI training, evaluation, or projects integrating human-data collaboration is highly advantageous.
