Investment Banking Analyst

About the Role

Our client based in Tampa, Florida, is expanding and looking for a high-achieving Investment Banking Analyst to join their transactional team. This position is perfect for candidates seeking direct involvement in deal processes and the chance to interact with senior bankers. The role centers around mergers and acquisitions and capital raising activities across the healthcare, business services, and technology sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive financial operating models, valuation analyses, and transaction models.
• Assist in executing live M&A and capital market transactions, including conducting due diligence, data analysis, and creating presentation materials.
• Prepare client-facing documents such as Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), management presentations, pitch materials, and industry research reports.
• Conduct thorough company, sector, and market research to support current mandates and business development efforts.
• Collaborate closely with Associates, Vice Presidents, and Directors to ensure deliverables are of high quality and that processes are smoothly coordinated.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 1 to 2 or more years of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, or corporate finance.
• Demonstrate strong capabilities in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Exhibit excellent analytical thinking, organizational skills, and communication abilities.
• Capable of managing multiple workload streams effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Hold a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Show a proactive attitude and eagerness to grow within a high-achieving team setting.
