Investment Banking Analyst - Officer

Overview

The role of Investment Banking Analyst at our institution offers a critical intermediate position supporting clients in capital raising activities and strategic financial advisory. This position collaborates closely with the Institutional Banking team to advise on mergers, acquisitions, and a range of financial transactions aimed at developing investment approaches and securing capital for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior bankers and team members to contribute actively as a junior analyst on specific client deals and initiatives within the Investment Banking division.
• Organize, process, and analyze complex financial information to support client proposals and strategic planning endeavors.
• Develop written recommendation documents, valuation reports, and data presentations for both pitch meetings and executed transactions.
• Perform comprehensive economic and financial market research to inform transactional strategies.
• Assess companies' financial results in the context of market and industry trends to guide strategic decisions.
• Construct detailed financial models designed to support valuations and investment analysis.

Required Qualifications

• Between 2 and 5 years of relevant prior experience in finance or investment banking environments.
• Strong proficiency in both written and verbal communication, demonstrating clarity and effectiveness.
• Capacity to handle stressful and dynamic situations, ensuring deadlines are consistently met in a fast-paced setting.

Educational Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent level of education or professional experience is essential.
