Investment Banking Analyst / Graduate Finance Program

Role Overview

This graduate finance opportunity is centered on supporting investment banking and corporate finance work through research, analysis, modelling, and transaction support. The role is designed to build practical knowledge across financial analysis, capital markets, corporate finance, and advisory processes while contributing to high-impact projects.

What You’ll Do

• Carry out financial analysis, industry research, market scanning, and peer benchmarking to support mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, corporate finance, and strategic investment work.
• Review financial statements, assess company performance, and build valuation models, forecasts, and investment recommendations using both quantitative and qualitative inputs.
• Prepare pitch books, presentations, investment memoranda, transaction papers, and management reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with due diligence by examining financial information, flagging possible risks, organizing supporting documents, and helping coordinate transaction execution.
• Track market movements, economic trends, regulatory developments, and sector performance to provide timely insights for decision-making.
• Work with finance professionals, business leaders, legal teams, and other stakeholders to deliver accurate analytical outputs and transaction support.
• Take part in structured learning, cross-functional assignments, and ongoing development as part of the graduate finance pathway.

Skills and Knowledge Needed

• Solid understanding of corporate finance, investment concepts, capital markets, financial statements, valuation methods, and modelling principles.
• Comfort with spreadsheets, financial modelling, presentation tools, financial databases, and reporting software.
• Strong analytical and numerical thinking, with the ability to interpret data, spot patterns, and support investment decisions.
• Awareness of mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt funding, due diligence, risk review, corporate valuation, and forecasting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for producing professional reports, presentations, and investment materials.
• Good organization, attention to detail, flexibility, curiosity, and the ability to manage several tasks in a fast-moving team environment.
