About the Role
We invite motivated and analytical graduates to join our Investment Banking Analyst / Graduate Finance Program, tailored for those passionate about corporate finance, capital markets, financial analysis, and strategic advisory. Participants will acquire hands-on experience in financial modeling, valuations, market research, transaction support, and business strategy by collaborating with seasoned finance professionals in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, industry research, and market intelligence to inform business decision-making.
- Develop and update financial models, forecasts, and valuation assessments.
- Assist in creating investment presentations, detailed financial reports, and client documentation.
- Examine financial statements, operational performance, and essential business metrics.
- Provide support in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising efforts, corporate finance, and strategic advisory projects.
- Keep abreast of market trends, economic changes, and sector performance.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative company and competitor analyses.
- Support due diligence processes, transaction paperwork, and validation of financial data.
- Prepare analytical reports, dashboards, and summaries for internal teams.
- Collaborate across finance, investment, legal, and business units on strategic initiatives.
- Maintain precise financial records in compliance with organizational standards.
- Participate in business planning, budgeting, and evaluations of financial outcomes.
- Deliver clear and professional presentations of research outcomes and analysis.
- Contribute to process improvements through data analysis and boosting operational efficiencies.
- Stay informed on financial markets, investment products, regulatory changes, and emerging industry developments.
Qualifications and Skills
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Firm grasp of financial markets, corporate finance, accounting principles, and investment concepts.
- Hands-on knowledge of financial statement analysis, valuation methodologies, and foundational financial modeling.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial analysis tools.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including presentation aptitude.
- Outstanding organizational skills to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines safely.
- High attention to detail with dedication to accuracy in all work.
- Capable of working independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, equity research, or investment analysis is beneficial.
- Familiarity with data visualization, financial databases, or business intelligence software is advantageous.
