About the Role
Liberty Bridge Partners is collaborating with a prestigious global investment bank renowned for its leadership in financial services. They are seeking Analysts to join their Financial Institutions Group (FIG) M&A team, which handles influential mergers and acquisitions and strategic transactions. This position offers a unique chance for distinguished individuals to move directly from a Big 4 Audit or Transaction Services background into a rewarding investment banking career with hands-on involvement in live deal execution starting immediately.
Candidate Profile
- Current employment in a Big 4 audit or transaction services team, specifically within the insurance sector
- ACA qualification with first attempt success in all examinations
- Holder of a First Class honours degree
- Senior Associate level with approximately 6 to 12 months post-qualification experience, consistently performing at the top of the peer group
- A genuine first mover transitioning into investment banking for the first time
Key Responsibilities
- Constructing and updating financial models including valuations, returns assessments, and scenario analyses
- Drafting client-facing presentations such as pitch books, information memoranda, and management presentations
- Conducting comprehensive research on companies, sectors, and markets relating to active mandates and deal origination
- Assisting with due diligence efforts and coordinating closely with clients, advisors, and counterparties
- Participating fully in all phases of transaction execution in a dynamic and results-driven environment
