Role overview
CCM is seeking an Analyst to join its capital markets team in New York. This person will work closely with a compact team of experienced professionals and contribute to transactions across the capital structure, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, private placements, and SPAC-related capital raises.
Analysts are expected to take on substantial responsibility and participate in every stage of a deal, from origination through closing. The role offers direct exposure to senior bankers and client executives, along with hands-on work on transaction execution, structure, and valuation. The environment is fast-moving, deadline-driven, and suited to someone who can perform under pressure.
This opportunity offers exposure to prominent transactions, faster growth than is typical at larger banks, and the chance to help shape a rapidly expanding investment banking platform.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the execution of capital raise transactions and stay in close contact with client management, legal counsel, and other advisors.
- Help manage interactions with buyers and investors, including feedback collection and tracking throughout the process.
- Build and maintain investor databases and market intelligence resources.
- Review current and historical market information to support client recommendations.
- Analyze companies, deal structures, transaction activity, and corporate filings for use in client and management presentations.
- Prepare pitch materials to support new business generation.
- Build and/or oversee financial models for complex transaction scenarios.
- Conduct research and synthesize findings into clear presentations.
- Create materials for board discussions and client-facing presentations.
- Develop a strong understanding of the firm’s existing relationships.
- Contribute to the ongoing growth and evolution of the business.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of relevant investment banking experience, with solid exposure to capital markets work across debt, equity, and/or equity-linked products.
- Experience in capital markets, private capital raises, or M&A advisory is a plus.
- SPAC knowledge or prior SPAC experience is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, technical sciences, or liberal arts; preference for candidates with strong academics from a top-tier institution.
- Strong drive, self-motivation, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to stay effective in high-pressure, fast-changing environments while meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and technical problem-solving skills with careful attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Consistent, accurate, and detailed work output.
- Professional maturity, presence, and poise for client-facing work.
- Working knowledge of FactSet, Bloomberg, Dealogic, Placement Tracker, and Microsoft Office is strongly preferred.
- Series 7, 63, and 79 licenses are required at the time of hire or shortly afterward.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to work onsite in the New York City office.

Compensation
The stated salary range is $120,000 per year to $120,000 per year, based on the company’s good-faith compensation assessment at the time the posting was generated under the New York City Human Rights Law.
