About the Role
We are hiring an early-career Investment Banking Analyst in the United States to support a busy advisory and transactions team. This position is a strong fit for candidates with an interest in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, corporate finance, valuation, financial modeling, and strategic advisory work.
In this role, you will partner with senior bankers, finance specialists, and corporate clients to help drive transaction execution, conduct financial analysis, assess business value, and contribute to strategic finance initiatives. Onsite work is expected, with hybrid arrangements also available.
Responsibilities
- Carry out detailed financial analysis, valuation work, and investment-related research.
- Create, refine, and maintain advanced financial models and forecasting tools.
- Support M&A, capital raising, and broader strategic advisory engagements.
- Develop pitch books, presentations, and other materials used in client discussions.
- Review financial statements, industry trends, and key business performance indicators.
- Perform comparable company analysis and precedent transaction analysis.
- Assist with due diligence tasks and transaction execution activities.
- Work closely with internal colleagues and outside stakeholders on strategic assignments.
- Track industry changes, market conditions, and potential investment opportunities.
Requirements
- A master’s degree is required in Finance, Business Administration (MBA), Economics, Accounting, Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Business Analytics, Applied Economics, or a closely related discipline.
- 0 to 3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, valuation, capital markets, financial analysis, private equity, asset management, or a similar area.
- Strong capability in analytical thinking, quantitative work, and financial modeling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Preferred technical exposure includes Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, PowerPoint, Bloomberg Terminal, financial forecasting, and investment research.
