Overview
This opportunity is with a leading venture capital fund based in London. The team is looking for someone enthusiastic about the European technology landscape and eager to contribute in a fast-moving, ambitious, and entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Help originate new opportunities and support sourcing efforts by identifying and arranging qualified meetings.
- Carry out research to evaluate markets, companies, and investment themes.
- Participate in due diligence and support transaction execution.
- Track portfolio companies and contribute to monitoring and reporting activities.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will bring 2 to 6 years of experience from investment banking, management consulting, venture capital, growth equity, or private equity. Applicants with operational experience in a startup may also be considered.
You should have demonstrated strength in financial analysis, strong commercial judgment, and solid analytical thinking. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
A positive attitude, high integrity, and strong motivation to work in early-stage investing are important. The role also requires a strong academic background from a top university, with at least a 2.1 classification.
