Role summary
As an Investment & Transaction Associate, you will support the investment team across active deal processes and broader pipeline management. The position offers close collaboration with partners, outside advisors, financing institutions, and target businesses, giving you direct exposure to entrepreneurial decision-making. The work combines analysis, transaction execution, coordination, and ownership across the full deal lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee, coordinate, and monitor live deal flow and transaction workstreams.
- Assist in planning, organizing, and managing due diligence activities.
- Carry out research and analysis on markets, competitors, and companies.
- Prepare decision papers, presentations, and other transaction-related materials.
- Set up and maintain virtual data rooms and ensure information is shared efficiently.
- Liaise with target companies, consultants, financing partners, and other external parties, including participation in negotiation discussions.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate brings experience from corporate finance, M&A, private equity, or a similar environment. The role calls for a highly organized, self-directed, and dependable working style, along with strong analytical thinking and a solid grasp of commercial topics. You should be comfortable coordinating complex projects or transactions, managing several priorities at once, and communicating professionally with both internal and external stakeholders. An entrepreneurial attitude, initiative, and a results-focused mindset are essential. Fluency in both German and English is required.
