Role Overview

Mühendis NETWORK is looking for an Investment Analyst / Financial Analyst with a keen eye for detail and strong analytical capabilities to aid in investment decision-making, financial planning, and evaluating business performance. This position involves scrutinizing financial data, conducting market research, building financial models, and delivering strategic insights to foster organizational growth and align with investment goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough analyses of financial statements, business metrics, and market information to support investment and financial decision processes.
  • Develop and update financial models, forecasts, budgets, and valuation studies.
  • Perform comprehensive industry studies, company evaluations, and competitive comparisons.
  • Track financial markets, economic developments, and potential investment prospects.
  • Assess investment results and produce detailed analytical reports for relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in portfolio evaluation, risk analysis, and reviewing asset allocation strategies.
  • Generate financial reports, dashboards, presentations, and executive summaries.
  • Support activities related to budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Analyze performance metrics (KPIs) and observe trends impacting business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and business units to offer data-based guidance.
  • Conduct variance analyses to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing financial results.
  • Participate in due diligence exercises, formulating business cases and strategic investments.
  • Guarantee the accuracy and reliability of financial data and reporting procedures.
  • Maintain all financial documentation in strict adherence to internal and regulatory policies.
  • Drive process improvements by optimizing reporting and analytical techniques.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics or closely related disciplines.
  • Deep understanding of financial analysis, investment concepts, corporate finance, and accounting basics.
  • Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and valuation methods.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and dedicated financial analysis software.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting standards and expertise in interpreting financial statements.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative reasoning combined with critical thinking capabilities.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex financial information in both verbal and written forms.
  • Excellent problem-solving aptitude coupled with sound decision-making skills.
  • High attention to detail and precision in all financial work.
  • Proficient in managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to operate autonomously as well as in team settings.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools, data visualization, or financial databases is an added advantage.
