Role Overview

illumicell AI is looking for a meticulous and analytically minded Investment Analyst / Financial Analyst to assist with investment decision-making, financial planning, and analysis of business performance metrics. The position involves assessing financial information, performing market research, creating financial models, and offering strategic recommendations to foster organizational growth aligned with investment goals.

Key Responsibilities

Examine financial statements, operational performance, and market-related information to support investment and financial decision processes.
Develop and update financial models, forecasts, budgets, and valuation assessments.
Research industry trends, evaluate companies, and benchmark against competitors.
Track financial markets, economic indicators, and potential investment opportunities.
Assess investment results and prepare detailed analytical reports for stakeholders.
Assist in portfolio reviews, risk evaluations, and asset allocation analysis.
Compile financial reports, dashboards, presentations, and summaries for management.
Support activities related to budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial plans.
Analyze KPIs to discern trends affecting business outcomes.
Work collaboratively with finance, operations, and business units to offer insights driven by data.
Perform variance analyses and recommend opportunities for improving financial performance.
Support due diligence, business case preparation, and strategic investment projects.
Maintain accuracy and integrity in financial records and reporting procedures.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
Strong grasp of financial analysis, investment fundamentals, corporate finance, and accounting principles.
Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and business valuation methodologies.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis software tools.
Understanding of financial reporting standards and capabilities in analyzing financial statements.
Strong analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking abilities.
Ability to interpret complex financial data clearly and communicate findings effectively.
