Job description
Overview
An established Irish real estate investment and asset management firm in Dublin is seeking an Investment Analyst. The role is a strong fit for a motivated analyst who is technically confident and eager to grow within a high-calibre investment team. You will work alongside senior leaders and gain exposure to investment appraisal, portfolio review, and day-to-day asset management.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial models to support acquisition, disposal, and wider portfolio investment decisions.
- Evaluate asset performance, returns, yields, and capital deployment across the portfolio.
- Draft investment memos and presentation materials for the board and senior stakeholders.
- Track market movements, peer transactions, and broader macroeconomic influences affecting the sector.
- Coordinate with asset management, finance teams, and external advisers on active transactions.
Candidate Profile
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in real estate investment, corporate finance, investment banking, or a related discipline; applicants from bank graduate schemes or property agencies are also welcome.
- Advanced financial modelling ability, with exposure to DCF, IRR, and investment appraisal highly desirable.
- Prior real estate experience is preferred, but strong candidates from adjacent backgrounds may also be considered.
- Working toward, or already aligned with, a professional qualification such as ACA, CFA, Chartered Surveyor, or an equivalent path is an advantage, though not mandatory.
- Excellent analytical ability, meticulous attention to detail, and strong communication skills are important.
