Job description

Role summary

Dartmouth Partners is recruiting for an Investment Analyst to support a fast-growing infrastructure platform backed by a global investment manager. This London-based position offers broad exposure to transactions, investment analysis, and strategic decision-making, with European travel involved where needed.

The role sits at the centre of financial modelling, valuation, and capital allocation work. You will partner closely with senior leaders and contribute directly to investment committee materials, portfolio analysis, and deal execution.

What you will do

As the owner of core analytical tools and outputs, you will maintain and improve the main site model used for bidding, valuation, and investment decisions. You will also help prepare reporting materials for senior stakeholders and support broader workflow enhancements and automation.

  • Build and manage full-cycle financial models for sites and related investments.
  • Prepare decision-support materials for investment committee and senior leadership reviews.
  • Create dashboard-style reporting for performance tracking and management visibility.
  • Improve processes through automation and better analytical workflows.
  • Contribute to deal origination, pipeline management, and transaction execution.

Experience and profile

The ideal candidate brings around three years of professional experience in an analytical investment environment such as infrastructure, real estate, private equity, investment banking, or transaction advisory. Experience with commercial real estate deals, acquisitions, underwriting, and investment committee processes will be especially useful.

You should also be comfortable working across multiple European markets and handling complex data sets that need to be turned into clear, practical insights for decision-makers.

Technical strengths

This role requires advanced financial modelling capability, including the ability to build dynamic models from the ground up and maintain complex master models. Strong command of Excel and PowerPoint is essential. Experience with dashboarding and BI-style reporting tools will be an advantage.

Academic background

A strong academic record is expected, ideally in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or another quantitative field.

Additional information

The position is based in the London office and includes travel across Europe as required. It is a high-visibility role with significant exposure to senior leadership, transactions, analytics, and investment decisions.
