Role Summary and Responsibilities

The Inventory Specialist is tasked with managing the comprehensive inventory of vehicles at the designated facility within established company timelines. Utilizing company-provided technology, the specialist inspects and documents vehicle conditions in accordance with company standards, including capturing detailed photographs. The role involves coordinating traffic flow in the receiving area to ensure prompt processing of vehicles by following a priority system. A strong grasp of Copart policies enables the specialist to provide effective solutions that enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Oversee, maintain, and organize the receiving area.
  • Operate photographic equipment and handheld inventory devices to process incoming vehicles.
  • Assess operational condition of motor vehicles and conduct complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) as required.
  • Track and maintain inventory of all materials used.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions throughout the seasons.
  • Preferably possesses general automotive knowledge or mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to operate handheld electronic devices preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail.
  • Aptitude to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license is preferred.
  • Bilingualism is considered an asset.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $19.65 to $22.13.
